We are proud to tell you that Big Shampoo & The Hairstylers’s powerful rithemsecion are back on the road! They will be touring in 2012 by the name BIG SHAMPOO III. There’ll also be shows where they will play with an additional pianoplayer! That band will be named BIG SHAMPOO IV!

On the 22nd of April, BIG SHAMPOO will be playing at the biggest easter festival in The Netherlands, Paaspop. In 2009 the band made their first appearance at this festival. Now in 2011 they are part of the line-up again which also contains bands like Triggerfinger, Peter Pan Speedrock, Waylon, Blof and Golden Earring.

Feb 4th, Rob will be playing with Bluesband Mr. Sloane in Bar ‘t Slik at his hometown Bergen op Zoom. Last year Rob played severial time with this band. They’ve been around for about 10 years now and they still know how to rock!

We are proud to annouce that Big Shampoo & The Hairstylers will be part of the line-up at the Gronau Jazzfest in Germany. On may 6th 2011 Shampoo will be the closing act. For more info check out www.jazzfest.de or the Big Shampoo website.

Some good exciting news! Rob has played guitars on the new album for Maaike! Not only was Rob asked to pick-out musicians for the recordings, he is also forming the live-band and will be part of it himself! The album will be released January 2011. Last week the band had their first rehearsal and it’s gonna sound awesome! We hope to announce the first tourdata as soon as possible.
