It’s been a while since i posted a new “note from the road”. The last two months were quite different from the years before. These are the day’s that i have some gigs now and then, but it’s not as busy as in summertime. It’s harder to play like once a week than to play three of four times. It wornes you out because you get to much time to relax at night! Non the less i’ve been really busy working behind the scenes to make sure you can see my bands on stage this year! And i’m pretty confident that will be the case:) I looks like it’s going to be a great year for Shampoo. With a German , a Belgium gig and some really great festivals and big venue’s, 2011 will be a promesing year for us. We are rehearsing new material at the moment and we work hard to bring you a amazing ahow on stage again! We’ve also been rehearsing with Maaike and that also is going to sound awesome! Great musicians…

As you might have read on Facebook, my new stage equiptment is ready to use! I’m exited ’bout that. All the guitars have been checked, adjusted, polished, parts have been replaced and they sound and play awesome again! Even bought a nice new Telecaster to use on stage. Always sound great for some songs.

So as you can see, everything is still going great! Really looking forward to travel the country and play!!

Here is my first “NOTE FROM THE ROAD!!”. I’m very busy building a new pedalboard for the Soldano amp! It’s a hard job and after 4 prototypes, things still happend to fail. But; what do you do when the normal approch is not working..?? You bring out the heavy tools!!
